Transfer guide
The road from Division 6 to Division 1 is rarely walked with a single club. Here is how the transfer market works.
Two ways to move
- Get scouted: clubs approach you with offers when your ratings stand out.
- Apply yourself: list yourself as available and send applications to clubs you want to join.
What clubs look at
- Your position rating in the position they need.
- Age and development curve.
- Your current division compared to theirs.
- Minutes played and match ratings in recent rounds.
Going international
After your first club the market is global. You can move to another country, but you still represent your home country at national team level.
The cost of moving
A move resets your club feeling at the new club, and it takes roughly four seasons to rebuild. Weigh the boost from a higher division against that loss.
