Beginner guide: your first 7 days
Pro Path Game is a text-based football game where you are the player, not the manager. This guide walks you through your first week day by day so you don't waste any points.
Day 1 — create your player
- Pick a first and last name, a nationality and a desired position.
- Pick a speciality — it affects both training and the match engine.
- Spend your three starting points (max level 2 per attribute).
- Choose your first club in your country. It becomes your home club and gives you high club feeling right away.
Days 1–7 — the daily decisions
The most important thing you do each day is make the daily decisions on your player page and save your personal training focus. The gains land straight on your attributes, and the outcome is rolled from poor to exceptional — so showing up every day pays.
- Make the daily decisions on your player page.
- Save your personal focus — it works every day, match days included.
- Without a saved focus there is no personal session that day.
Match day
League matches are played on Saturdays and can be followed live. The coach picks the eleven from position ratings, so check whether your desired position is crowded in the squad.
Common beginner mistakes
- Forgetting to save your focus — the day is lost.
- Spreading points too thin early; level 3 in one attribute comes fast if you focus.
- Picking a position the club is already stacked in.
- Chasing routine — it only comes from matches played, over many seasons.
